Salome Zourabichvili, the fifth President of Georgia, has reacted to the 14th anniversary of the official registration of the “Georgian Dream” (Kartuli Otsneba) party with the country’s Ministry of Justice.
“14 years! This has already gone beyond the norm! This ‘Dream’ no longer belongs to the ‘dreamers’ but has become a nightmare of opportunists, power-grabbers, or slaves,” the politician wrote.
Zourabichvili noted that all of this is also a consequence of “excessive humility, a lack of hope, less self-belief, and an inability or unwillingness to put the country above all else.”
“This is partly our fault: excessive humility, a lack of hope, less self-belief, and an inability or unwillingness to put the country above all else. Together we will fix this, and together we can!” Zourabichvili wrote.
As a reminder, 14 years ago, on April 21, 2012, “Georgian Dream” was officially registered as a political party with the Georgian Ministry of Justice.
