An explosion occurred at a construction site near the Old Boulevard in Batumi. The cause is suspected to be a gas leak.
According to available information, one person was injured.
Emergency medical personnel stated that the victim received necessary treatment on-site, and their life is not in danger.
“There is only one person injured; I don’t know exactly what happened,” an eyewitness stated.
Personnel from the Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and law enforcement officers are currently at the scene.
