Council of Europe Discusses Secretary General’s Report on Occupied Territories of Georgia

The 1558th meeting of the Committee of Ministers’ Deputies of the Council of Europe reviewed the 33rd consolidated report by the CoE Secretary General titled “Conflict in Georgia.”

Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia participated in the meeting.

The report was presented by the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset.

The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the document examines events and recent developments regarding the occupied territories of Georgia for the period from October 2025 to March 2026.

“The document provides an overview of the security, human rights, and humanitarian situation in the Russian-occupied regions of Georgia, as well as along the occupation line,” the ministry stated.
