A total of 55 inspections were conducted across 23 Georgian wineries to verify the compliance of alcoholic beverage batches submitted for certification. According to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, no violations were found among the 216 samples collected.
The ministry reported that during the same period, 10 state inspections were carried out at four companies to ensure that the technological production processes complied with Georgian law. No violations were identified in the 15 samples taken.
“The relevant departments of the National Wine Agency continue to monitor the quality of alcoholic beverages on an ongoing basis to ensure that Georgian wine fully meets international standards, remains competitive, and that global demand for it continues to grow,” the ministry’s statement read.
