Georgian Foreign Minister: Relations with Ukraine Must Be Reciprocal

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili commented on her meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

The Minister stated that during the conversation with her Ukrainian counterpart and the Ukrainian leader, they discussed bilateral relations, existing challenges between the countries, and the need for further development of cooperation.

Bochorishvili emphasized that Georgia has consistently maintained a firm position regarding Ukraine and its support. At the same time, Tbilisi notes the importance of a reciprocal approach from Kyiv.

“We held a conversation with my Ukrainian counterpart, as well as with the President. We discussed the relations between our countries and the challenges that exist between us, as well as the importance of developing cooperation between the two states.

Throughout this period, Georgia has maintained a consistent and firm position regarding relations with Ukraine, as well as support for Ukraine.

It is also important for us to see the same attitude from the Ukrainian side,” Bochorishvili stated.
