Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is in Yerevan to participate in the 8th European Political Community (EPC) summit. The head of government stated that, from a connectivity standpoint, Georgia holds significant importance for Europe.
He noted that at the 8th EPC summit, he will have the opportunity to address European leaders in a round-table format. He also intends to hold a series of bilateral meetings.
“We will participate actively in it. Regarding Georgia’s role in terms of connectivity, the role of the Transcaucasus, and especially Georgia, is unique. We connect seven countries to the Black Sea and, consequently, to the West in economic and trade terms. Naturally, we will be speaking actively about this. Georgia is of very great importance to Europe from the perspective of connectivity,” Kobakhidze stated.
