Salome Zourabichvili: “Dream” is sending its own propagandists to prison

zurabishvili News

The fifth President of Georgia commented on the detention of Giorgi Udzilauri, a department head within the Ministry of Finance’s Investigative Service, by the State Security Service (SSG) on espionage charges. Writing on social media, Salome Zourabichvili stated:

“Has ‘Dream’ [Georgian Dream, the ruling party] exhausted its capacity for arresting its own corrupt officials and seizing money from its own businesses? Probably not, and many more will yet have to ‘bend the knee’…

However, a new wave has begun: their own propagandists are being labeled as spies and sent to prison.

Bots and trolls, now it’s your turn to be afraid!

It is interesting that yesterday Kobakhidze [Irakli Kobakhidze, the Prime Minister] was posing with European leaders, while Simonyan [Margarita Simonyan, head of Russia’s RT] was fuming at Armenia and its ‘ingratitude’…

‘We are not the ungrateful ones,’ Ivanishvili [Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder of the ruling party] replies: yesterday’s handshake with Zelenskyy meant nothing, but we, it turns out, are acting correctly—catching a spy working for a European country, and doing so even before the European summit has concluded!” writes Zourabichvili.
