[Fact or Fake]: A “Secret” or Public Meeting with the German Ambassador to Georgia

Georgian pro-government television channels Imedi and Rustavi 2 have claimed that the German Ambassador in Tbilisi, Peter Fischer, held a “secret meeting” with “opposition activists,” during which he allegedly called for protests in Georgia to be developed according to an “Iranian scenario” and promised funding to the participants. In this report, we examine what actually took place.
