The Ministry of Education of Georgia **reports** that it will launch a new market research study for the procurement of school uniforms. This decision was made after the company that offered the lowest price withdrew from the tender process.
On April 3, the ministry-owned company Educational Resources LLC (ShPS “Saganmanatleblo Resursebi”) initiated market research to determine the estimated cost of purchasing school uniforms for primary school students in public schools for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The procurement involves 1,801,000 units of school uniforms.
The ministry explained that during the procedure on May 14, the company that submitted the lowest price failed to meet the specified requirements and declined further participation in the procurement.
Consequently, a new market research study will be announced in the coming days.
