Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reported on a meeting with Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, which took place during a session of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers.

According to Sybiha’s post on X, the parties discussed a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues, interaction within international organizations, including GUAM (Organization for Democracy and Economic Development), as well as recent political developments in the space of shared values—stretching from Europe to the South Caucasus.

Sybiha emphasized that Kyiv and Tbilisi continue to develop a “transparent, pragmatic, and constructive” dialogue.

“I had a great opportunity to meet with my Georgian colleague Maka Bochorishvili at the Ministerial Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

Our conversation served as a direct follow-up to the recent dialogue between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit.

We discussed a wide range of bilateral issues, our cooperation within international organizations, particularly GUAM, as well as recent political events in the space of shared values from Europe to the South Caucasus.

We continue to develop a transparent, pragmatic, and constructive Ukrainian-Georgian dialogue,” the Ukrainian diplomat wrote.
