Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the sixth President of Georgia, Mikhail Kavelashvili, on Georgia’s Independence Day.
The politician noted that this holiday symbolizes the resilience and national unity of the Georgian people.
“I am convinced that Georgia will continue to move along the path of sustainable development, strengthening state institutions and improving the well-being of its citizens, which in turn will contribute to the country’s steady progress and enhance its standing on the international stage,” the congratulatory message reads.
Lukashenko expressed hope for the development of cooperation between Georgia and Belarus.
“I look forward to the intensification of comprehensive cooperation between Minsk and Tbilisi for the benefit of our peoples, including in the trade, economic, humanitarian, and cultural spheres,” Lukashenko emphasized.
The Belarusian leader wished Kavelashvili good health and success, and the people of Georgia peace, prosperity, and well-being.
