Georgia’s Foreign Minister and Vice Prime Minister Maka Botchorishvili met with US State Department representatives Charles Jokisch and Peter Andreoli, the ministry reports.
The parties discussed relations between Georgia and the United States, as well as potential areas for further cooperation.
They also separately reviewed the “Middle Corridor” project and Georgia’s role as an important regional transport hub and connecting link.
The parties emphasized that the US supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
The Foreign Ministry’s statement noted that both sides expressed their readiness to continue working on strengthening bilateral cooperation.
