“Russia is waging a hybrid war, with Georgia serving as a testing model,” stated the fifth president of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, during her speech at the Black Sea Security Forum in Odesa. Meanwhile, according to Zourabichvili, the myth of Russia’s military invincibility was debunked in Ukraine.
“Even though this myth has been shattered, it does not mean that Russia is ready to stop there. At the same time, it is waging another war—a hybrid war in which Georgia is a testing model. It is being waged not only with missiles, but also through elections, propaganda, the capture of state institutions, the intimidation of civil society, and the export of its own mechanisms of legislative coercion.
All the laws passed in Georgia are part of a hybrid interference campaign aimed at distancing Georgia from its European path…
What unites Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova is the question of whether countries neighboring Russia have the sovereign right to choose their own future and whether the international community will defend this right,” Salome Zourabichvili stated.
