Rescuers in Rustavi have recovered the bodies of two people from the Mtkvari (Kura) River, Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed.
Both of the deceased are men.
According to the Info Rustavi news outlet, the bodies were found several kilometers from the bridge connecting Old and New Rustavi.
The cause of death and the circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known.
