A car has plunged into the Mtkvari (Kura) River in Tbilisi. The incident occurred late at night on the Galaktion Bridge. According to available information, there was one person in the vehicle.
As the Emergency Management Service told the Interpressnews online news agency, search and rescue operations are still ongoing.
This is not the first such road accident; several similar incidents occurred in the capital last year.
