The Holy Trinity Cathedral (Sameba) in Tbilisi will host the 73rd mass baptism of third and subsequent children.
This tradition, established by Patriarch Ilia II, will be continued on June 7 by the new head of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Shio III.
The Patriarchate announced that at 8:00 PM, the new primate of the Georgian Orthodox Church “will bless the newly baptized.”
