Based on the submitted materials, an investigation was launched, and on February 23, 2026, the prosecutor’s office detained all three police officers as defendants.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified that the case involves three officers from the Imereti Police Department who committed the videotaped crime in 2022 while on an official assignment in Kobuleti.
