A march was held in Tbilisi under the slogan “Together Against Violence and Impunity.” Today’s traditional Saturday march is dedicated to the issue of violence by law enforcement officers against citizens, following the release of scandalous footage from a police station by the Pirveli TV company.
Participants of the march are carrying signs reading: “The system must be destroyed,” “14 bloody years,” and “If the police use violence, who do we turn to?”.
They are also holding photographs of citizens injured during protest rallies who, they claim, were subjected to police violence.
