Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze thanked the founder and honorary chairman of Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili, for his initiative to develop parasports in the country. He made the statement at the presentation of the film *Unlimited Possibilities*.

He noted that prior to 2012, Georgia had only three para-athletes competing in two sports. Now, Kobakhidze pointed out, Georgia has more than 300 athletes across 14 sports, as well as dozens of world and European champions.

Kobakhidze promised that the government would continue to provide maximum support for the development of parasports and athletes with disabilities.

“I would like to thank the creators of the film—Bacho Odisharia and producer Giorgi Grdzelishvili—as well as the entire team that worked on this project.

I want to express special gratitude to the Cartu Foundation and personally to Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili—not only for supporting this film.

The film also noted that it was on his initiative that Georgia began paying special attention to the development of parasports and, in general, to improving the rights of people with disabilities.

This film is yet another confirmation of this support. Once again, I thank Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili and the Cartu Foundation,” the Prime Minister stated.
