Elene Khoshtaria, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Change and founder of the Droa party, thanked the public for their support and stated that she does not intend to enter into any discussions with the “illegitimate institutions of the Russians.”
“Do not worry about me. In the fight against the Russians, I am prepared for much more. Of course, I do not intend for a single second to enter into any discussions with the illegitimate institutions of the Russians, to prove anything to them, let alone ask them for anything. Let them do whatever they want.
Pain is bearable, evil is intolerable. I am not the first and I will not be the last, but I promise them one thing – no lawlessness will go unanswered, and there will be a price to pay for everything.
I cannot run, but I can fight,” Khoshtaria wrote.
Earlier, the Droa party stated that Khoshtaria’s health is irreversibly deteriorating. According to the party, her treatment in custody is sporadic and aimed solely at suppressing individual symptoms, and is therefore ineffective.
In turn, the Special Penitentiary Service of Georgia reported that on June 9, the necessary laboratory tests were conducted for Khoshtaria, after which she received a medical consultation. The agency also stated that a further treatment strategy has already been developed for her.
