The new “Central Purchasing Body” established by the Government of Georgia intends to purchase 595 vehicles with a total value of 47.3 million lari.
According to the documentation, five tenders have been announced for the procurement of vehicles for various government agencies, including specialized vehicles (pickups), hybrid cars, and hybrid SUVs.
The vehicles will be allocated to:
- The National Food Agency;
- The Revenue Service;
- The National Forestry Agency;
- Georgian Amelioration (irrigation system);
- The Special State Protection Service;
- The Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance.
These will include:
- 305 specialized vehicles (pickups) — 27.57 million lari;
- 98 Class III hybrid SUVs — 7.94 million lari;
- 156 Class III hybrid passenger cars — 9.21 million lari;
- 33 Class II hybrid passenger cars — 2.31 million lari;
- 3 Class II electric vehicles — 270.5 thousand lari.
All purchased vehicles must be of the 2026 model year, and the submission of bids for the tenders will begin on June 24 and close on June 25.
