Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has departed on an official visit to Kazakhstan.

The government administration reports that the Palace of Independence of Kazakhstan will host an official welcoming ceremony for the head of the Georgian government with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev — both in a one-on-one format and in an expanded meeting.

Following the meeting, the relevant agencies of the two countries will sign memorandums of cooperation in various fields.

As part of the official visit, a meeting will also be held between the Prime Minister of Georgia and the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov. Cabinet members from both countries will participate in the talks.

The Georgian delegation includes Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture David Songulashvili, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
