Georgia’s Ministry of Education reports that English will no longer be taught in the country’s schools from the first grade.
Students will begin studying it from the second grade.
At the same time, English language instruction is being reinforced in the 10th grade, with an increase in curriculum hours.
“English will not start from the first grade, but its teaching has been strengthened in the 10th grade, where the number of English language hours has been increased,” the ministry stated.
