The imprisoned leader of the “Droa” party, Elene Khoshtaria, has reported that her condition has significantly improved after being transferred to a clinic and starting pain relief therapy. The politician published the corresponding statement on social media.
“Intensive and highly professional examinations are currently underway, the results of which will ultimately determine my treatment. I would also like to note that cooperation with both the Penitentiary Service and the Vivamed clinic is constructive. At this stage, I am receiving all the necessary assistance.
As soon as the doctors allow, I will, of course, return to my ‘home’ prison in Rustavi. And I will be released along with all the other political prisoners.
Once again, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my attending physicians – Maka Ioseliani and Ani Kavtaradze. I also thank the Todua Clinic for the warm welcome and highly professional medical care,” Elene Khoshtaria stated.
