A fire broke out on Chavchavadze Avenue in Kutaisi, destroying shopping kiosks. The Emergency Management Service told the Formula TV channel that the blaze has already been extinguished. No one was injured in the incident.
According to the owners of the retail outlets, the fire destroyed 13 kiosks, and all the merchandise inside was completely destroyed.
“It was about four in the morning when we found out about the fire. When we arrived at the scene, everything was already engulfed in flames. The stock is 100% destroyed, 13 kiosks burned down. We don’t have insurance, and we don’t know what to do now,” one of them said.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
