Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has departed on a working visit to Singapore, the Administration of the Government of Georgia reports.
The politician will hold meetings with Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, and Speaker of Parliament Seah Kian Peng.
Meetings are scheduled with representatives of companies operating in the financial technology (FinTech) sector. The main topic of the talks will be Georgia’s investment opportunities.
Irakli Kobakhidze departed for Singapore accompanied by a government delegation. The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili, Head of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
