Georgian Health Ministry Holds Talks with Roche on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Treatment

Georgian Minister of Health Mikheil Sarjveladze has met with Teresa Graham, CEO of the pharmaceutical division of the Swiss company Roche, according to the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs.

The parties discussed ongoing cooperation between Georgia and Roche, as well as prospects for further collaboration in the healthcare sector.

Particular attention was given to opportunities for cooperation in providing patients with oncology medications. In addition, the participants addressed issues related to Elevidys, a drug used to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy, the ministry said in a statement.
