“I sincerely wish success to the interim governing council as well as the council of reformers, whose executive secretary is Nanuka Zhorzholiani,” stated Tina Bokuchava, former chair of the United National Movement, following the conclusion of the party congress.
According to Tina Bokuchava, the arrival of any new person into the party ranks is of great importance.
“The addition of any new person to the party ranks is extremely important. It is not an easy decision; it is a very tough struggle that affects each of us and our families. I sincerely wish success to everyone who, by decision of today’s congress, has taken on the responsibilities established by the structural changes approved today,” Tina Bokuchava stated.
Bokuchava noted that over 14 years of struggle, a misconception has developed regarding what matters most to her.
“Over these 14 years, I have heard many accusations leveled against me, but as a rule, they came from propaganda rather than from those considered my allies. Unfortunately, over the past few days, when I raised completely legitimate and well-founded questions before the public, I heard very unfair assessments. Apparently, over these 14 years of struggle, some people have formed a wrong impression of what is most important to me. For me, what was, is, and always will be paramount is the struggle, dignity, and principles,” Tina Bokuchava declared.
