A toddler has fallen from an eighth-floor apartment window of a residential building in Batumi. According to local media reports, the two-year-old died at the scene.
The incident occurred on Inasaridze Street. It is also reported that the child was a foreign national.
An investigation has been launched under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertains to causing death by negligence.
