The US Embassy in Georgia has a new interim head.
According to the American diplomatic mission, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Courtney Austrian has arrived in Tbilisi:
“Amy Diaz has resumed her duties as Deputy Chief of Mission.”
As a reminder, following Robin Dunnigan, the United States has yet to appoint an ambassador to Georgia, leaving the diplomatic mission headed by chargés d’affaires. Consequently, Courtney Austrian will serve as the head of the US Embassy until a new ambassador arrives in Tbilisi.
