At the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze will participate in the first international space summit in Paris. The event will be held on September 9–10.
“At the summit, co-chaired by France and Germany, the key topics for discussion will be science, research, security, and defense.
The head of the Georgian government will also attend an official reception hosted by the President of the French Republic in honor of the leaders participating in the summit.
The Prime Minister of Georgia departed for the French Republic accompanied by a delegation that includes Deputy Prime Ministers—Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili and Minister of Defense Irakli Chikovani—as well as Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani,” the government’s press service said in a statement.
