In the Vashlijvari district of Tbilisi, a boulder dislodged by a rockfall struck a residential building overnight, injuring one person. The incident occurred on Arzakan Emukhvari Street on the night of October 30.
The Emergency Management Service reported that the injured individual was a man who was evacuated from the house “conscious and responsive.” An emergency medical team transported him to a hospital.
Information about the incident initially circulated in a social media group. One user addressed the Tbilisi City Hall:
“Keep issuing permits [for residential construction], keep destroying the mountains and cliffs. Why can’t you understand that such illegal construction will bring nothing good to all of Tbilisi?”
