Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder and honorary chairman of the Georgian Dream party, met with Israeli Ambassador to Georgia Walid Abu Haya.
According to the ruling party, during the meeting held at the central office of Georgian Dream, the two sides discussed close bilateral cooperation and the positive momentum observed across various fields.
“The 26-century-long relationship between Georgia and Israel was emphasized, along with political ties grounded in the special friendship between the two nations. In addition, attention was given to the current global geopolitical situation, and the importance of diplomatic avenues for achieving peace and stability for the benefit of nations and peoples was reaffirmed.
Bidzina Ivanishvili wished Walid Abu Haya success in his future endeavors.
The meeting expressed readiness to further strengthen friendship and partnership between Georgia and Israel,” the statement reads.
