Estonia Advocates for EU Personal Sanctions Against the “Georgian Regime”

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that Tallinn has already proposed that the EU impose personal sanctions against the Georgian authorities.

The minister was responding to a question regarding the potential introduction of personal sanctions.

“Estonia has already put forward a proposal for the European Union to impose personal sanctions against the Georgian regime and those individuals who violate democratic norms. We in Estonia are already doing this,” Tsahkna stated.
