Mamuka Mdinaradze has been appointed State Minister for the Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies; the corresponding decree was signed on April 30 by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to the government administration, Kobakhidze’s order also tasks Mamuka Mdinaradze with the duties of Vice Prime Minister.
He will not have a separate office or apparatus, unlike, for example, the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality.
As a reminder, on April 21, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced personnel reshuffles during a special briefing, stating that the then-head of the SGB (State Security Service) Mamuka Mdinaradze would lead a new structure within the Georgian government.
