Two Defendants in Dzhangveladze Case Sentenced

A court has found Mamuka Bagdavadze and Giorgi Kachkachishvili guilty in a case severed from the main investigation into the contract killing of businessman Levan Dzhangveladze.

According to the ruling by Judge Demetre Dzindzholia, Kachkachishvili was sentenced to 10 years in prison, while Mamuka Bagdavadze received a 7-year sentence.

Giorgi Kachkachishvili was charged under Article 236 of the Criminal Code, which covers the illegal group acquisition, possession, and sale of firearms and ammunition.

Mamuka Bagdavadze was charged under Articles 370 and 375 of the Criminal Code, which involve giving false testimony and concealing a crime.
