Salome Zourabichvili asks EU Ambassador to support Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients

The fifth President of Georgia has appealed to the European Union Ambassador to Georgia, Paweł Herczyński, requesting assistance for patients diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

In her letter, Salome Zourabichvili asks the EU Ambassador to facilitate the search for funding opportunities and other support mechanisms for Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients to help alleviate their condition.

“At a time when support for the Georgian people is becoming increasingly restricted, your involvement would provide vital assistance to patients suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy and their families, while also reaffirming the EU’s commitment to supporting the people of Georgia,” the President’s letter states.
