The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) of Georgia has launched an investigation into the attack on journalist Gela Mtivlishvili.
The investigation is being conducted under Article 126 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to violence.
Notably, journalist Gela Mtivlishvili stated that he had been attacked. He wrote on social media that he sustained facial injuries as a result of the assault.
