Georgian Foreign Minister and Vice Prime Minister Maka Bochorishvili stated that Family Sanctity Day is a significant date for any state and society. She recalled that the importance of family values and traditions was also discussed during her meeting with the US Vice President, where the role of the family in society was emphasized.
According to her, the resilience of a society depends largely on the preservation of the traditions and values upon which it is built.
“For any society and any state, this is a very important day—preserving and respecting the values and traditions on which society stands and is formed,” the politician noted.
Bochorishvili emphasized that for small countries, it is particularly vital to preserve their identity and cultural foundations.
“For relatively small countries, it is important that society respects the values and traditions upon which our state is based,” the minister stated.
The Georgian Vice Prime Minister added that the values maintained within the family serve as the foundation for social stability and the upbringing of future generations.
