Mdinaradze: Traditional Values are the Primary Guide for Georgian Society

Mamuka Mdinaradze, State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Activities of Georgia, stated on Family Sanctity Day that faith, identity, and traditions hold a special, “sacred” value for the Georgian people.

He noted that this day was established at the initiative and with the blessing of Ilia II, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, and symbolizes traditional values, faith, and national identity.

Mdinaradze pointed out that the continuation of this tradition is also linked to the initiatives of Patriarch Shio III, emphasizing that the Georgian people must never lose their connection to faith, culture, and family.

The State Minister declared that raising future generations based on these values is a vital task, adding that the Georgian public’s stance on these matters has been expressed “as clearly as possible,” in his view.

Regarding discussions on identity, nationality, and traditions, Mdinaradze stressed that his position remains “unwavering,” as these elements are historically characteristic of Georgian society.
