Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Georgia and the Georgian people on Independence Day and declared Ukraine’s readiness to develop relations between the two countries.
In his address, the Ukrainian leader noted the historical ties between Ukrainians and Georgians, as well as their shared values.
«I congratulate Georgia and the Georgian people on Independence Day. Our two nations are bound by long-standing ties and a shared understanding of the value of freedom and dignity.
I wish Georgia peace, unity, strength, and prosperity. We look forward to mutually beneficial relations, and Ukraine is ready to move in this direction», — Zelenskyy emphasized.
