Four heads of Georgian security agencies awarded top ranks at once

The head of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, has been awarded the highest special rank of Major General of Police. The corresponding decree was signed by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

The government administration also announced that the Prosecutor General of Georgia, Giorgi Gvarakdze, has been awarded the highest special rank of State Counselor of Justice—the decree was signed by the head of government.

The highest special rank of Major General of the Border Police of Georgia was awarded to the head of the Border Police of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, David Tamazashvili.

The highest special rank of Major General was also awarded to the director of the Tbilisi Police Department, Vazha Siradze.
