Georgia Has Once Again Refused to Participate in the “3+3” Format

Georgia will not participate in the “3+3” format meeting to be held in St. Petersburg. As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia told the Interpressnews online news agency, the Georgian side has repeatedly voiced its position on this matter and has never participated in meetings of this format.

As a reminder, the first expert meeting in the “3+3” format will take place in St. Petersburg on June 5.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced that the Russian side will be represented at the event by Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

“On June 5, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin will participate in the first expert meeting of the ‘3+3’ regional cooperation platform—Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia plus Russia, Iran, and Turkey—within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum,” Zakharova stated.
