Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that an investigation has been launched under Article 115 of the Criminal Code (incitement to suicide) into the death of Bakar Bekauri, a detective from the ministry’s district department in Gori (Shida Kartli region).
“An officer of the Gori district department was found dead today in the village of Ateni. Relevant urgent investigative measures are underway,” the ministry’s statement reads.
