Another 14 detainees in the ‘October 4 storming’ case are admitting their guilt – the prosecution will finalize a plea agreement with them.
Under one of the episodes, an agreement will be approved for eight people. They are:
- Aleksandre Khabeishvili, Beka Kelekhsashvili, Giorgi Mumladze, Mamuka Labuchidze, Guriel Kardava, Avtandil Surmanidze, and Vakhtang Pitskhelauri.
The court will consider the matter at 3:00 PM, after which they will be released directly from the courtroom.
The second episode involves another six people:
- Giorgi Korkia, Giorgi Rurua, Khvicha Gogokhia, Levan Jikia, Lasha Ivanadze, and Sergo Megrelishvili.
As a reminder, a total of 64 participants were charged in the case concerning the attempted storming of the Presidential Palace on Atoneli Street on October 4, 2025, the day of the local government elections.
At this stage, 21 defendants have admitted guilt, and plea agreements are being concluded with them.
Eight of them finalized their agreements on June 9 and were released directly from the courtroom.
