One of the leaders of the Coalition for Change, Elene Khoshtaria, has once again commented on the situation surrounding her detention and issues related to medical care. She wrote on social media:
“I laugh when the ‘Kotsis’ [a colloquial term for members of the ruling Georgian Dream party] think that by denying me treatment, dragging out the process, humiliating me, and creating an illusion of power, they can harm me.
I repeat once again: I will never ask you for anything, and I will never recognize you. I am absolutely calm and steadfast. You had better worry about yourselves. You will not break me, remember that well!” Elene Khoshtaria wrote.
Earlier, Giorgi Lemondzhava, one of the leaders of the Droa party, stated that the penitentiary service is artificially delaying the process of allowing a personal physician to see Elene Khoshtaria.
According to the opposition politician, the issue of granting the medical specialist access to the politician has still not been resolved, despite appeals from her allies.
