As part of its preparations for the World Cup qualifying tournament, the Georgian national basketball team played a friendly match against the Latvian national team in Riga.
The Georgian athletes defeated their opponent with a score of 87-77.
In the first round of the 2027 World Cup qualifiers, the Georgian team will play against Ukraine in Riga on July 2, and will host Spain on July 5.
