A significant part of the country’s opposition “has partially come to resemble ‘Georgian Dream’,” wrote Georgia’s third president, Mikheil Saakashvili, on social media. According to him, some opposition forces “no longer dare to use the word ‘dictator'” and, as he claims, share the ruling party’s “desire for him to remain silent.”

The main problem with the political process in Georgia is that most of the opposition has partially come to resemble ‘Dream,’ because, just like ‘Dream,’ they lack sincerity and transparency, and they use double standards.
This also explains the once completely unacceptable admiration for Salome Zourabichvili, who was initially presented as president thanks to an active campaign in Europe and accusations against Georgia regarding the war, while her imposition as president occurred through violence (of which Ia Kerzaia was a victim), bribery, and fraud.
Also today, part of the opposition claims that the ‘National Movement’ [United National Movement] and my statements hinder unity. It turns out that I am preventing them from uniting with Ivanishvili, Gilauri, and bank oligarchs, as well as with order-executors like Bokeria, and that is why they cannot attack the dictatorship more harshly.
By the way, they no longer even dare to use the word ‘dictator,’ and therefore they have the same desire as Ivanishvili—and perhaps even stronger—for me to fall silent. But I will not remain silent, and I am using every available platform in the world and in Georgia,” Saakashvili wrote.
