Zurab Chkhaidze, the clinical director of the Vivamed clinic, stated that he currently has no information regarding when Elene Khoshtaria, the leader of the Droa party, will be transferred from the penitentiary facility to the medical institution.
According to him, representatives of the penitentiary service have not contacted him at this stage.
“We are always ready, 24 hours a day, to admit penitentiary patients and, in general, any patients. This is their decision. At this stage, the penitentiary service has not contacted me,” Zurab Chkhaidze stated.
As a reminder, on June 29, the Director General of the Special Penitentiary Service, Giorgi Pataradze, stated that the service had agreed to transfer the founder of the Droa party, Elene Khoshtaria, to a civilian clinic. According to him, the decision was made after a meeting with Elene Khoshtaria’s doctors, Maka Ioseliani and Ani Kavtaradze.
