Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanks foreign delegations that took part in the funeral ceremony of the country’s former supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The Iranian foreign ministry stated that the participation of foreign representatives, despite “pressure and threats,” demonstrates that they are “on the right side of history.”
The ministry also expressed its appreciation to all foreign guests who attended the farewell ceremony in Tehran, emphasizing that they “paid tribute to truth and justice.”
As a reminder, the funeral ceremony in Iran was attended by the sixth president of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili.
